I love nut butters, and they’re full of healthy fats. These balls use nut butter to bind together oats, pecans and a touch of coconut to make a healthy sweet treat that’s simple to make. The skim milk powder adds protein which helps to keep you full between meals and provides protein for muscle repair.
Here’s how.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of unsalted almond or peanut butter
1/4 cup skim milk powder
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
around 10-12 pecan nuts chopped
3 tablespoons coconut thread
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into small balls and refrigerate for at least half an hour before serving. Makes 10-12 small balls.
