If you’re into yoga, organics, awesome music and eco living, then you might want to check out Wanderlust festival that’s hitting NZ for the second time in January 2015. I haven’t been myself, but it sounded like fun – bloggers Megs & Soph wrote a great review here of 2014 festival.
What’s it all about?
Wanderlust is a four day festival for those interested in mindful, healthy living.
Attendees can practice yoga from renowned instructors, take in live music from some of today’s best conscious artists, venture into outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle-boarding, mountain biking, and indulge in organic delicacies. There is also a thought-provoking speakeasy series that includes speakers such as Dr Libby, meditation teacher Swami Govindananda and Lululemon’s Alexie O’Brien.
Where is it?
The Wanderlust series begins in at Taupo (Jan 29 – Feb 1), at the iconic Wairakei Thermal Resort but there is also a festival in Sydney too on Cockatoo Island (Feb 20 – 22) if you’re based in Australia, or want a trip over the ditch.
The multi-day Wanderlust retreats will gather together yoga enthusiasts, families, foodies and mindful adventurers for an unforgettable getaway.
Accommodation:
There’s an option to stay onsite either in four-star hotel accommodation or “glamping” tents. Otherwise, there’s plenty of accommodation offerings just a short shuttle bus [in Taupo] or ferry ride [in Sydney] away.
